But if you have not tasted the dal prepared in earthen kiln at the tanga stand of Alwar city, then you are still incomplete with the taste of Alwar.

Although there are many dhabas in Alwar, but this dhaba at the Tanga stand of Alwar city has been operating for the last 66 years. Probably this is the first dhaba where every person of Alwar has tasted dal. People taste this dal because it is cooked on low flame of coal in an earthen furnace.

Bhagwan Dhaba, operating at a tanga stand situated in the heart of Alwar city, provides a different taste of dal to the people. Dhaba operator Bittu told that this dhaba has been feeding pulses to the people since 1957. A long crowd is seen at this dhaba for dal. The Dhaba operator told that right from the beginning, pulses have been prepared in an earthen furnace on low flame of coal. Which provides a different taste to people. Due to this, our pulses are in highest demand here. This dhaba feeds people from 12 noon to 11 pm.

150 customers who taste dal every day
Bittu told that people like the pulses of our place so much that about 150 people are permanent customers of our place, who get the pulses packed from here and take them to their homes. Along with this, people are also given the arrangement to eat while sitting at our place. In our place the processing of pulses starts at 5 in the morning. In which about eight people are engaged in their work. The dal prepared at our place gets finished on the same day. At Bhagwan Dhaba, the price of Dal Fry is Rs 120, Shahi Paneer is available for Rs 160, Kadhai Paneer is available for Rs 220.

Earlier, pulses were available here for free along with roti.
Dhaba operator Bittu told that when this dhaba started operating, the customers were given free pulses along with roti. So that people can fill their stomach. Even at that time, there was a similar number of customers at this dhaba. But as inflation increased, we also started taking money for pulses from people.
